Built for even the most complicated of stairs, this innovative stairlift can travel downwards at a 45 degree angle. This makes it easier to use for those who have limited flexibility in their knees or when the staircase is especially narrow. The seat arms and footrest can also be folded away to make greater use of space.
It differs from the Rembrandt in that the Van Gogh fits to the external bend of the stairs and the Rembrandt fits to the internal bend. Both models have excellent features including the simple to operate joystick control which can be fitted for either left or right-hand use. Two remote controls means that the lift can be operated by a carer or it can be used by another member of the household. It also comes with an independent key switch to prevent the stairlift from being used by other family members, such as children who may want to play with the stairlift.
The Van Gogh comes with a fully padded seat in a range of colour options to suit the décor of your home. It has either a manual or powered swivel seat to allow the user to get on and off the chair easily. A retractable seat belt provides extra safety and comfort during the ride and comes as standard.
Options include a linked footrest, to prevent the user having to bend down. A fully automatic power-hinged track is available to clear hallways and doors.
